Step 1: Project is Planned

  • Contacted: You will be contacted personally to schedule an interview with your assigned developer by phone.
  • Guided: An information guide will be sent with:
    Instructions about your project.
    A series of questions about your needs and expectations.
  • Interviewed: During your appointment, your developer will discuss your purchase, your design selections, your needs, and your expectations.
  • Respected: A report and plan will be prepared that includes a list of technologies that were selected based on your:|

Step 2: Site is Delivered

  • Software Installed, Configured, and Tested|
    Your site software will be installed and configured as described in the report and plan. Placeholder content will be used in the site to give you a starting point for adding your information.
  • Design is Installed, Configured, and Tested
    Site design software and graphics will be installed and configured as described in the report and plan. Placeholder media will be used in the site to give you a starting point for adding your own.
  • Site Owner/Staff is Trained
    Your developer will schedule a set number of training sessions (phone sessions) for authorized users of your site.You will be trained on how to add, edit, and delete content. Other topics will be included.
  • Site is Delivered
    The final development (Website) is delivered to client by loading to the server or by delivering the software and database as zipped files via ftp. If files are delivered as zipped files it is the client's responsibility to install the site on your desired server.

Step 3: Site is Populated 

  • Clients Adds Text and Media
    Client and staff are given access and instruction on how to enter content in your final development. Back-ups are made frequently during the data entry stage of your Website development.
  • Avalon MIS Supervises Content Creation 
    You are coached, instructed, and guided as you enter written content, photos, and other content
  • Avalon MIS Tests Site and Creates v1.0 Back-up
    The site is reviewed to test the content and any associated code that has been created and uploaded. When everything is working as expected, the final version will be backed-up as version 1.0.
  • Site is Approved for Publishing (launch)
    The client approves the development and is sent the final invoice. The site is moved to the final location (yoursite.com) and final tests are performed. The site is published and copyrights are transferred when the final invoice is paid.
